The
purpose of our Web Site is to welcome you to our Parish and to give
you a brief insight into the activities that exist within the Parish.
I hope you have found us a very welcoming community: at least we
are striving to be such. The Parish is part of the Diocese of Clifton
and its spiritual leader is Bishop Declan Lang.
Prayer and friendship are the important characteristics of the parish
and I am sure that you will be able to add to the many activities
that have been undertaken. We take special care of the young and
the not so young, which we believe creates vitality at all levels.
We are most grateful to the parishioners who have served the parish
over the years, and those who are doing so at present, and we hope
that you will be able to help and assist them with their fine works.
We are part of the Mystical Body of Christ and so every member of
our parish is vitally important. Our purpose is to celebrate with
joy, evangelise with faith and care for one another.
We welcome you to the parish community of Our Lady’s Churchdown
and encourage you join in our activities.
